Obesity has been with for most of my life. Chubby cheeks, large frame, beer belly, high Blood Pressure, high blood sugar level, inflammation, and even heart problem.

5 years after my myocardial infarction (MI) diagnosis, I noticed a lot of weird changes in my life. I look at life in a different perspective now. There are still a lot of things that I what to do, a lot of places that I want to go, plenty of dishes I want to taste and a lot of people I want to meet.

Every single aspect of my life has been gradually improving. Psychology, spiritually, professionally, financially, bond with my family and friends, all improved greatly from who I was a long time ago. One major problem I have was still my health.

No matter how improved your mind and your soul is, but if the vessel is weak then everything will still be disintegrate in the future. Starting the year of 2020, I suddenly decided not to eat any form of rice. A good start indeed. I research and watched video in improving my nutrition. Started “prep meals”, stocking up on protein, buying vegetables and fruits, limiting my sugar intake and even trace my nutrition intake.

I’m on my fourth (4th) month of  transitioning to a healthy lifestyle. Things that improved so far.

  • Lose 35lbs
  • Lower Blood Sugar Level
  • Improve Stamina
  • More muscle definition
  • No food cravings
  • Deeper sleep
  • More energy throughout the day

I’m setting goals / targets as a barometer for my progress.

Hoping that in December, I’m around 110 kilos ( 220lbs ), can run more kilometers with less rest time, no more beer belly and of course all my physical numbers must be back to normal.

Wish me luck
